Step 1: Check the condition of the wheel rims

Repair scope: Aluminum alloy wheels and rims with original factory coating materials

Step 2: Disassemble the tire

1. First, remove the tire

2. Release the tire pressure

3. Squeeze the tire into a flat state and directly remove the wheel rim from the tire puller (this can prevent water from seeping into the tire during construction)

Step 3: Check for damage to the wheel rims

Preparation work: Prepare color matching according to the original color of the wheel rims

（1） The wheels have no gaps, only scratches, yellowing, and cracking on the surface

1. Select different types of sandpaper for polishing according to the degree of damage

2. Use wheel rim repair ash to fill in areas with scratches for repair

3. Dry with specialized equipment

4. Use sandpaper numbered 180-320 to polish step by step

5. Polish the entire surface of the steel ring to a matte finish using 600 # and 800 # dry sandpaper

6. Spray the wheel hub specific primer on the scratch filling area

7. Put it into the device and bake it dry at 100-120 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes

8. Polish again to a matte finish

（2） The situation where there is a gap in the wheel rim

Procedure for using special materials for wheel hub gaps

1. First, polish and clean the damaged area

2. Take out the material and use the corresponding amount according to the size of the damaged area (note: before repairing, the size of the gap damage should be checked first. If the width and depth exceed 3 centimeters, it is not recommended to repair. If the degree of gap loss is shallow, a steel saw should be used to slightly deepen it, so that the repaired gap will be firm)

3. Pinch the cut material gently and evenly with your fingers. If any small hard objects are found, they can be removed for better repair results

4. Press the kneaded material tightly onto the damaged wheel rim gap, and fill it according to the model of the wheel hub

5. Use specialized equipment for heating and drying, and use a short wave infrared baking lamp for better baking effect

6. Wait for the material to fully cure (time: dry at a temperature above 25 ℃ for 20 minutes), use 180-320 grit sandpaper to polish the wheel hub until it reaches the basic original state, then spray it with a special fast drying 2K automotive primer and polish it again, and then repair it with wheel rim repair ash; After it solidifies, continue polishing until a smooth surface appears, then spray silver powder paint and dry, and finally spray wheel hub repair special material. (Note: Each step of the base coating mentioned above should be completely dried to avoid seriously affecting the surface hardness after spraying the material.)

Step 4: Edge banding

1. Cover the wheel rim with universal masking film

2. Wipe the surface of the wheel rim with degreaser

3. Dry using equipment

4. Wipe off surface dust with a dust cloth

Step 5: Spray primer and color paint

1. Spray the primer evenly on the entire or damaged area, and continue to search for sand holes after drying. All sand holes must be filled with repair ash (note: avoid using "eye red ash filling")

2. Spray the prepared paint evenly onto the wheel rim

Step 6: Spray specialized repair materials

Prepare specialized materials for wheel hub repair

2. Pour the prepared materials into a dedicated repair spray gun

3. Adjust the spray gun atomization properly

4. Spray evenly on the surface of the wheel rim in one go, usually two coats

5. Put it in the oven, control the temperature at 100 degrees, 60 minutes

Step 7: Check the wheel rim

1. Check if there are a small amount of dust particles on the surface of the wheel rim

2. If available, you can use 2000 # sandpaper to lightly polish it

3. Use a high-speed polishing machine to pour a small amount of microcrystalline polishing glaze for polishing

4. Wipe the wheel rim with a clean towel and check if it is shiny
